This week I learned that clothing company M.M. LaFleur will lend clothing to any woman running for political office in the U.S. Whether it's for a local city council race, or the U.S. Senate, women have access to this free clothing. This may sound simple, but outfitting oneself for a campaign can be a cost-prohibitive barrier for some folks. Since the announcement, the company has heard from 900 candidates.

The rideshare app Lyft announced that it's expanding its free ride program on voting days (both primary and general election). They are giving free ride codes to several non-profit organizations that work with disadvantaged folks across the country in an effort to expand access to voting.
For the second year in a row, Hilton Hotels was named by Fortune as the Best Place to Work with an astounding 97% employee satisfaction rate. Hilton has great employee benefits, including a new partnership with Milk Stork which provides nursing mothers (who are traveling for work) a free service to ship or carry breast milk home to their babies.

You may remember that the founder of Papa John's pizza left the company a few years ago after making some racist comments. Well, the company has turned around remarkably and has some new initiatives to improve the organizational culture. The company is now providing free college tuition, employee resource groups, and a confidential help line, among other things.
