5 things / kindness
Whew! Week one with an active 9 year old at home has been intense, as I'm sure many of you can relate. Fortunately, Patrick's been a good helper as you can see in my daily videos. Here are five examples of kindness we've seen this week:
Numerous stores, such as Nike, Patagonia, and even small businesses like our local book store, have completely closed all locations, yet are still paying their hourly workers full wages until they can reopen.
Sweetgreen is providing free meals to hospital and medical workers in areas in which they have restaurants. Their nutritious bowls and salads will help front line responders get taken care of, too.
Many grocery stores are letting seniors and other vulnerable folks shop prior to opening for business to the general public so they can have ample access to basic products during a time in which supplies are being limited.
Adobe is offering its Creative Cloud free for 60 days to anyone, even current subscribers. This is just extra money back in the pockets of many small business owners who could use it.
