Great news out of Ecuador! The country now officially offers marriages for same-sex couples, making it the 27th country in the world to do so.

Four players from the world champion U.S. Women's National Soccer team have started a gender neutral lifestyle brand, Re-Inc, which currently has some clothing items. Their goal is to embrace inclusivity and gender-neutral design.
The law firm Baker McKenzie has set ambitious goals for gender balance in leadership: 40% men, 40% women, and 20% flexible (men, women, and/or non-binary). Recruitment pools should achieve that balance in 2020 with firm-wide balance set for 2025.
Washington State's Supreme Court ruled that obesity is a disability and protected under ADA. This makes it illegal to discriminate towards someone who is obese in employment.
Harvard Business Review conducted a study at Wikipedia and found that politically diverse teams are more effective - as long as those individuals are still willing to be collaborative.
Will uniforms for front line employees start to be phased out or become more liberating? Employees who are given greater freedom of self-expression (including showing visible tattoos, fully expressing their personality, etc) have higher retention and customer satisfaction rates.
