True Colors: Intersectional Allyship in Action

Intersectionality is a big word with big meaning. It encompasses the lived experience of people which oftentimes means one person having multiple marginalized identities. This causes a state of oppression and adversity for some which can be disrupted by active and engaged allies.

This workshop explores the concept of intersectionality, where we fit in all of it, and how increased self-awareness can move the needle from a state of adversity for some to opportunity for all. Together we can leverage our intersectionality to know more and grow more.
