The Price of LGBT Exclusion

This powerful video created by Out & Equal, a UN campaign for LGBT equality, shares data and insights on the financial cost of homophobia and transphobia in the workplace. The campaign highlights that there are higher rates of poverty, homelessness, depression and suicide among LGBT people than in the general population. 

The UN calls ending homophobia and transphobia "not only a human rights priority but a development imperative." Reinforcing anti-discrimination efforts up and down the supply chain is a critical step in this imperative.
