In response to the mass shooting at the Walmart in El Paso, the retailer will stop selling nearly all guns and ammunition, except those used for hunting.
Harvard Business Review studied Glassdoor.com reviews and compared them to the American Consumer Satisfaction Index and discovered a strong correlation. Happy employees = happy customers, with companies like Southwest Airlines, Trader Joe's, Costco, and Hilton great examples of this.
The healthcare company Centene has been providing disability inclusion assessments and awarding hundreds of grants to healthcare providers. The grants are for things like wheelchair ramps, wheelchair accessible examining tables, braille signage, and more.
In advance of New York Fashion Week, Tapestry Inc (which owns Coach, Kate Spade, and many other brands) and 50 other fashion brands have signed the Open for All pledge to demonstrate LGBTQ inclusion. These companies will be the latest to post the "Open for All" sticker on all of their storefronts across North America.
